Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shipping Area

We offer international shipping worldwide, subject to legal, phytosanitary, and logistical restrictions.

Delivery to certain countries or regions may be excluded at any time due to local laws, import regulations, or carrier limitations.

Shipping of Live Plants

Live plants are shipped with special care and in compliance with German and European plant health regulations.
 • Live plants are usually shipped from Monday to Wednesday to minimize transit times.
 • Where required by law, shipments include a plant passport or other phytosanitary documentation.
 • International customers are solely responsible for checking and complying with the import regulations, plant health requirements, and restrictions of their destination country.

Customs, Import Duties & Regulations

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, inspections, or import restrictions.
 • Any additional costs (customs fees, import taxes, inspections, or destruction by authorities) are borne by the customer.
 • The seller is not responsible for delays, confiscations, or destruction caused by customs or plant health authorities.

Shipping Method

The shipping service provider is selected by the seller unless otherwise stated.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and depend on destination, parcel size, and weight.

Delivery Time

Estimated delivery times are provided during checkout and are non-binding.

Delays may occur due to:

Transfer of Risk

The risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to the customer upon handover to the shipping service provider, in accordance with German law.

Live Plant Shipping Risks & Liability

Live plants are natural products and sensitive to transport conditions.
 • No guarantee is given for the survival, rooting, or condition of plants after transit.
 • Weather-related damage (heat, cold, humidity) during shipping is not considered a defect, provided the plants were properly packaged.
 • The seller is not liable for plant stress, leaf loss, or cosmetic damage caused by transport.

Failed Delivery / Return Shipments

If a shipment is returned or destroyed due to:
 • Incorrect address details
 • Refusal by customs or plant health authorities
 • Missing or insufficient import permits

the customer bears all resulting costs. Refunds are excluded in such cases.
